Conquist 2 Review

Publisher: Shmeuk–Price: $2.99–Conquist 2 brings the classic world domination board game RISK to iDevice in style. It boasts stellar graphics, supreme gameplay, and is loads of fun! When opening up the application, you can tell the developers didn’t play it cheap on visuals.
Everything looks meticulously polished, as much so in the game itself. There are many game modes, including a single player, multiplayer on one iDevice, and online multiplayer. In addition to this, there are different situations (secret mission, castle, colonization, and domination), and eight maps, which means you’ll never play two similar games! As you get better, you can tweak difficulty levels so you stay challenged. The game is easy to understand overall, as there is a short description of each mode in the menu, and a more thorough description in the tutorial. Unfortunately, the tutorial is a long text tutorial, and these really are a drag to scroll through when you want to get started with the game. I’d recommend a quick video tutorial, or even one inside the game that you can turn on or off. Another suggestion I have for the developer is to add a faster speed to the game, as the second (faster) speed seems a bit laborious. The gameplay in Conquist 2 is easy to understand, and contributes to the games excellent replay value overall. This is thanks to all the customization the player can make before starting a game, be it difficulty, number of players, map, or even game type. Online multiplayer mode was also a very entertaining experience, which you can play in two modes: secret mission and world domination. Hopefully, the two other modes will be made available in online multiplayer soon. Overall, though, Conquist 2 is top-notch. It’s got great graphics and many game modes at a good price, I just wish there was a video tutorial and different options for online multiplayer. This is why the game gets a 9 out of 10.

Hey there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this website with us so I came to look it over. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Great blog and excellent design and style.

  2. Multiplayer is ONLY secret mission mode? Nothing else, has that changed? That’s not worth the buy for me then if so?

      Hey there,
I checked the most recent update, and online multiplayer is now available in both Secret Mission mode and World Domination, thanks to an update. I’ve updated this in my review.
