iProcrastinate Review

Publisher: Craig Otis–Price: $0.99–iProcrastinate is a productivity application that enables you to create and track your homework assignments, check off the steps to completing it, and most importantly, syncing all of the info to your Mac. The app’s user interface is simple, with just a few different buttons and settings. The app is very stable, which is crucial for productivity apps (I wouldn’t entrust my due dates for important assignments to an app that crashes half the time). After testing out the app, I tried syncing to the Mac. I was very impressed with it, the syncing just worked, beautifully, might I add. What was weird though is that you have to sync from your iDevice, which detects your Mac and syncs, and not vice versa. A suggestion I have for the developer is to add email functionality for group projects (maybe call it group procrastinating). Overall, iProcrastinate is definitely worth a buck, especially since the Mac version is free of charge, which is why it gets a 9 out of 10 from me, Thumbs up.

  1. Sam, thanks for the great review!

I just want to clarify, however, that you actually can sync from a Mac to an iOS device. (Or vice-versa, direction does not matter.) Simply ensure that the Sync window is open on both devices, and you should be able to initiate the sync from whichever device you choose.
